The school is seeking a dedicated professional to begin as soon as possible, with the assignment extending through June 2027.
Qualifications:- Valid California Moderate/Severe (ESN) Special Education Credential required
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Deliver individualized instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with team members and families
- Provide direct support in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
- Monitor and document student progress toward goals, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for all students
- Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule, supporting work-life balance
