With a salary starting at $85.00, Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill a Clinical Pharmacist position right now. We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to work full-time, Monday through Friday, in a dynamic clinical setting. This is a 1-year contract position offering a competitive hourly rate of $85, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and organizational needs.

We are open to considering qualified travelers. Being bilingual in Spanish is preferred!

Job Specifics And Requirements

Experience Needed

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a practicing Pharmacist is required; five (5) or more years of experience is preferred.
  • Board certification (BCACP) or completion of a Pharmacy practice residency (preferred) is required.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of chronic disease management principles and medication therapy management.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A background in population health management and the execution of quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Pharmacists with prior clinical experience, especially in an Accountable Care Organization or Federally Qualified Health Center (ACO or FQHC) is preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Pay: $85.00

Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen

Clinical Pharmacist



Job Responsibilities

  • Actively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care in person and virtually.
  • Perform detailed medication reviews to determine if the medications are appropriate, effective, safe, and if the patient is adhering to the prescribed regimen.
  • Create customized medication therapy plans to be developed and implemented to specifically address the individual needs and objectives of each patient.
  • Effectively educate patients about their medications by clearly explaining potential side effects, proper usage, and methods to improve adherence, offering ongoing support to ensure understanding and success.
  • Make well-reasoned, evidence-based, and patient-centered medication recommendations to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of programs and initiatives with the goals of improving population health outcomes, enhancing the quality of patient care, and promoting safety across all departments.
  • Consistently monitor and analyze information pertaining to medications to determine operational effectiveness, quality outcomes, and fiscal results, while frequently comparing against leading standards at both local and national levels.
  • Contribute to the development and oversight of policies and procedures related to formulary management, encompassing drug purchasing, utilization guidelines, distribution processes, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with management on staff development initiatives aimed at improving pharmacy expertise and abilities throughout the organization.
  • Ensure all records of patient encounters and medication regimens are precise and current, adhering to professional guidelines and company regulations.
  • Guarantee comprehensive compliance with all pertinent state and federal mandates governing pharmacy practices, in addition to internal guidelines and protocols.
