Our community non-profit organization is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to support daily operations. This is a hands‑on role combining general facility maintenance with janitorial duties. A reliable vehicle needed for travel between locations in San Leandro. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM, with occasional weekend shifts for special projects.
Responsibilities- Facilities support duties include painting, patching walls, moving furniture, moving/delivering supplies, miscellaneous repairs and handyman tasks.
- Janitorial duties include cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms, unclogging toilets, stocking paper products, carpet cleaning, exterior and roof cleaning, window washing, and general cleanliness of common areas.
- 1 year of experience in related janitorial and facilities maintenance.
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred.
- Reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current car insurance.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and maintenance tracking systems)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., move around the facility continuously, and work comfortably on ladders, roofs, and in various conditions (extreme temperatures, cramped spaces, noise, etc.)
