Production Coordinator

General Purpose

To provide the team with the coordination necessary to make the day with throughput goals. Provide all members of the assigned team with a clear schedule of work for their entire shift to support shipments.

• Teamwork
  • Prioritizes work and shift setup in accordance with throughput requirements.
  • Participates in staffing projections.
  • Facilitates scheduling of team O.T. and vacation in accordance with policy.
  • Handles first line performance issues, communicates with employees in a respectful manner regarding time management and workmanship issues, notifies supervision when further action is required to improve performance.
  • Gives objective, fact-based input for team performance.
  • Coordinates resources to move from one team to help another when necessary to meet daily throughput and support outside departments.
• Process Control
  • Notifies appropriate party/parties when a process is out of control.
  • Facilitates technique card and router changes.
  • Participates in root cause analysis for out-of-control conditions.
• Measurements
  • May set and display daily team production goals in accordance with TOC disciplines.
  • May participate in presentation of team production status in daily throughput "line walks".
  • Updates daily status on inventory position.
• Planning
  • Coordinates long and short-term capacity requirements and throughput commitments with planning team/supervisors.
  • Assists with strategies to forecast and attain team measurements.
• Other
  • Interfaces with engineering and other departments to give process walks and presentations.
  • Monitors and reports daily attendance.
  • Moves parts, carts, and tooling in accordance with the jobs at hand.
  • Assures compliance with safe work habits and maintenance of proper housekeeping procedures.
  • Assures compliance with company policies and procedures and promptly notifies supervision of deviations.
  • May be assigned to multiple work centers or departments.
  • Other duties as assigned; performs all work as deemed necessary to meet Plant goals.

Pay range: $22.00 - $42.00 USD per hour.

Hourly based on a variety of factors. Eligible for Quarterly Cash Bonus at 1X the Company's bonus multiple.

80 hours paid time off every year; 10 paid holidays.
