Production Coordinator

General Purpose

To provide the team the coordination necessary to make the day with thru‑put goals. Provide all members of assigned team with a clear schedule of work for their entire shift to support shipments.

Objective:
Support management in the daily operation and coordination of their section or department in conformance to operations goals and metrics.

• Prioritizes work and shift setup in accordance with thru‑put requirements.
• Participates in staffing projections.
• Facilitates scheduling of team O.T. and vacation in accordance with policy.
• Handles first line performance issues, communicates with employees in a respectful manner regarding time management and workmanship issues, notifies supervision when further action is required to improve performance.
• Gives objective, fact‑based input for team performance.
• Coordinates resources to move from one team to help another when necessary to meet daily thru‑put and support outside departments.

• Notifies appropriate party/parties when a process is out of control.
• Facilitates technique card and router changes.
• Participates in root cause analysis for out‑of‑control conditions.

• May set and display daily team production goals in accordance with TOC disciplines.
• May participate in presentation of team production status in daily thru‑put “line walks”.
• Updates daily status on inventory position.

• Coordinates long and short‑term capacity requirements and thru‑put commitments with planning team/supervisors.
• Assists with strategies to forecast and attain team measurements.

• Interfaces with engineering and other departments to give process walks and presentations.
• Monitors and reports daily attendance.
• Moves parts, carts, and tooling in accordance with the jobs at hand.
• Assures compliance with safe work habits and maintenance of proper housekeeping procedures.
• Assures compliance with company policies and procedures and promptly notifies supervision of deviations.
• May be assigned to multiple work centers or departments.
• Other duties as assigned; performs all work as deemed necessary to meet Plant goals.

For informational purposes only the range of pay for this role is $22.00 to $42.00US Dollar (USD)
Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only this role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Companys bonus multiple based on the Companys performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
