Technician - Battery Cell Assembly & Testing

Coreshell's metallurgical Silicon anode technology delivers high capacity, fast-charging, and superior safety. Our low-cost Silicon-dominant batteries have higher energy density, superior intrinsic thermal safety, and significantly lower cost/kWh compared to current LIBs. Coreshell's Si anode material is lower than the cost of graphite and utilizes the largest abundant critical mineral supply in the US and Europe. Position:
We are looking for a Technician to assemble battery cells on Coreshell’s Pilot Line, operating manufacturing and testing equipment. The ideal candidate is hands‑on and comfortable working in a fast‑paced development environment.

• Execute pilot line manufacturing processes including: electrode handling, stacking, tab welding, electrolyte filling, vacuum sealing, and formation preparation
• Follow and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain dry room protocols
• Adhere to quality standards and documentation requirements
• Maintain organized production records and traceability documentation

• Associate’s Degree in a science related field
• 2+ years of experience in battery assembly, manufacturing, or lab operations preferred
• Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures and engineering instructions.
• Familiarity with chemistry lab safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
• Ability to wear PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators if required

Location:

San Leandro, CA. Full-time. Hourly rate is $30-35 per hour with additional stock incentives dependent on experience. Dental, vision, healthcare and 401(k) benefits are included. Applications will be screened as received.
