The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products during manufacturing
to ensure that they meet customer standards. Besides measuring parts with
mechanical inspection tools and comparing the results to a drawing or
specification, a Quality Inspector will also be responsible for documenting
measurements and communicating their findings and feedback to the manufacturing
team.
Position Responsibilities:
* Perform first piece, work-in-process, final, visual, and first article
inspections
* Support manufacturing with mechanical and visual inspection
* Record and maintain quality records
* Accurately and thoroughly communicate inspection results, findings, and
useful information to the manufacturing team
* Help with various other tasks as needed
* Position Requirements :
* Ability to communicate in an effective and friendly manner
* Aptitude for organization and recordkeeping
* Knowledge and understanding of print reading and GD&T
* Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers,
height gages, indicators, etc.
* Experience with operating manual and/or DCC CMMs—knowledge of CMM Manager or
PC-DMIS preferred
Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
* Must be knowledgeable with GD&T.
physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
* Good vision and ability to occasionally use microscopes or magnifiers for
extended periods of time.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $25.91-$44.04 hourly. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related
factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education
or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
