Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday 5am - 1:30pm

If you have experience as a certified X‑Ray Technician Level II, apply for this role to continue your career in the exciting field of Non‑Destructive Testing. The X‑Ray Technician Level II is responsible for reviewing both digital images and film images to ensure the integrity and quality of our highly technical parts before they are shipped to our customer.

  • Responsible for and demonstrates safe work practices.
  • Passionately works in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
  • Achieves team production goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Following the appropriate methods, reviews processed X‑Ray film to ensure the castings are conforming to customer specifications. Reads and accurately follows technique card instructions, which describes numerous unique steps of a complex nature; plans the methods for completing a given assignment.
  • Accurately records and reports results using the appropriate systems.
  • Ensures equipment is calibrated per specifications.
  • Trains and provides guidance to less skilled employees to assist in their development and performance.
  • Interfaces with engineering and management and proposes corrective action to solve problems.
  • Performs other duties of equal, greater or lesser complexity as required by the position or as assigned by supervision.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
  • One year of manufacturing experience preferred. Previous experience in the casting industry is a plus.
  • Must have X‑Ray Level I certification.
  • X‑Ray Level II certification is highly preferred.
  • Requires the ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions normally acquired by completion of high school or GED.
  • Use arithmetic, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Make simple use of drawings, x‑ray folders, approved x‑ray techniques, specifications, charts and tables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform duties in working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, multiple physical positions and other elements for extended periods of time. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
  • Sincere desire to learn and broaden their knowledge base thereby increasing their value to the company.
  • Focus on results, timely completion and quality; attention to detail and accuracy - precision oriented.
  • Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is desirable. Some prior shop experience preferred to understand shop practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated high degree of visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Math proficiency with and without calculators; intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Pay and Benefits

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $31.50 to $42.00 US Dollar (USD) hourly based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year and 10 paid holidays.

Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
