-process i nspect ion , final inspect i on, o r outsider c u s to mers (customer r et urn s) go through th e mate ri al r ev i ew area. The Material Review Technician is responsible for d i sposit i oning a ll rejects back into process or sc rapp ed out.
- Know, uphold, and abide by plant Safety rules, r e lat ed EH &S ru les and r eg u lat ion
- Disposition reject i ons by creat i ng rework travelers in Visibility and distr i buting
- Active member of daily scrap me e tin g to disposit i on scrap to departments for r epair a n d into scrap barre l s
- Gather proposed sc r ap from a l l areas i n pl ant on d ai l y b asis
- Work ing with d epartment supe r v i sors, i nspection personnel, and engineers to accurately determine rewo rk / scrap reason co d es
- Det e rmine when parts should be brought to th e at t e n t ion of various eng i neers for po ss ible serious i ssues, as well as when it is time to no l onger r e work par t s
- U ti li ze know l edge of customer and casting requirem ents in disposition
- Commun i cates issues effective l y and i n a timely manner with Quality Manager
- Work in clos e partnership with managers, s up ervi sors, le ads and operators in a collabo ra tiv e manner t o ensure all issues are und erstood a nd addressed
- Know, u p h old, and ab e by a ll r e l ated regulations and company policies, procedures, guide l ine s, ru les and g ood manufacturing processes.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.75 to $31.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter .
Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
