Job Location: San Leandro, CA (This position is 100% onsite)

Schedule: 9/80:
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
Salary Range: 26.68 to 49.28 USD hourly

Note: This position is onsite and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
Position SummaryResponsible for testing and troubleshooting microwave components, sub-assemblies and final products to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
Responsibilities- Set up and check accuracy of standard microwave bench test equipment, such as sweep generators, network analyzers, and frequency counters.
- Perform microwave tests, take measurements, and tune products to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot components, sub-assemblies, final products and test equipment to determine causes and remedies of malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment used to test antennas.
- Evaluate tests and recommend commercial test equipment for use in the production test department.
- Interface with other departments to resolve problems regarding testing or assembly.
- May provide work directions to lower-level technicians.
- Perform data review and trend analysis on antenna data.
- Test, evaluate and recommend special purpose test fixtures as required.
- Maintain, repair, and/or fabricate production test equipment (production and prototype).
- Assist in verifying, developing and documenting test procedures and special applications as required by interpreting product specifications.
- Perform limited, intermittent physical exertion under conditions with some distractions due to exposure to noise, dust, heat or chemicals.
- Accurately reduce all data to real numbers for final ATPs.
- Requires an AA degree in electronics or 2 years of specialized trade or military training and/or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Requires use of complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing microwave products, equipment and components.
- Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion.
- Good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands.
- Sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and discern symmetry and proper alignment.
- Exposure to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
- Able to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat; push and reach as needed.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds close to the body repetitively (assistance and tools for heavier or awkward items).
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
- This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Salary range for this role is listed as $55,500 - $102,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer may vary based on experience and location.
