Sanitation Worker
Join our team as a Sanitation Worker, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe production area. Your duties will include sanitizing machines, mixing chemicals, breaking down machinery, and putting parts through a comprehensive sanitation process. You will also be responsible for accurately filling out documentation. We value team support and are looking for candidates who are willing to help where needed.
Responsibilities- Sanitize production machines and equipment.
- Mix and handle chemicals safely.
- Break down machinery and put parts through the sanitation process.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment according to SOPs and GMPs.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support team members and assist in various tasks as necessary.
- Experience in cleaning, sanitation, and sanitizing processes.
- Experience in food production and food manufacturing.
- Ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with following SOPs and GMPs.
- Experience with breaking down machinery and handling chemicals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to balance and prioritize workload.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proven record of reliability and dependability.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends if needed.
- Residence in the SF Bay area or willingness to relocate at your own expense.
- Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment can be hot due to washing with hot water. Be prepared to handle the physical demands of the role, which include standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
