Primary FunctionResponsible for stocking and kitting material and cycle counting inventory.
Major Responsibilities- Receives incoming material; examines and counts material received.
- Stocks materials and parts.
- Prepares & audits kits and issues materials & parts to production personnel. Resolves kitting problems.
- Fills parts shortages.
- Ensures completion of required paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials and parts.
- Performs other duties as required, including cycle counting, inventory activities and general housekeeping of stockroom areas.
- Performs moderate physical efforts Must be computer literate.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Must be able to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers, and to carry out instructions.
- Requires stockroom, kitting, cycle counting and receiving experience, using a computerized inventory control system.
- Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime and weekends.
- Able to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time.
- Able to push, pull and reach for extended periods of time.
- Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands.
- Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment.
- Able to move items up to 35 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet.
- Will be exposed to some or all of the following: fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
- Ability to type for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
