Shift: Night Shift – 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

The RN – Labor & Delivery will provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The nurse will monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist physicians during delivery procedures, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to handle high‑risk obstetric cases.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, and maternal vital signs.
• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during delivery procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and newborn care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• ACLS Certification
• AWHONN Certification
