Med Pro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Wound Care for a travel assignment in San Leandro, California.

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg or Wound Care setting
• Other requirements determined by client facility

Wound Care Nurses (RN) provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage conditions with pharmaceuticals. They must possess broad knowledge of many health conditions.

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments
• Administer medication
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members
