Telemetry Registered Nurse
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to patients in a telemetry unit. This role involves utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care by following the Nursing Process and adhering to hospital policies.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and training.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and planning for the safe delivery of care.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Relevant clinical and travel experience in nursing.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
This position requires a shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
