Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Torani, we’re kicking off an exciting new chapter on our journey toward the $1 Billion vision—and we’re looking for passionate team members to join the journey. We’re building a brand-new, world‑class manufacturing operation from the ground up. We’re introducing new technologies and building the systems that will power Torani’s next generation of growth. This is your chance to join in day one, be part of something exciting, and help shape the future of how we make and deliver flavor around the world.

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of quality for Torani’s new sauce production line. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the deep understanding, design, and ongoing evolution of quality systems assuring food safety, compliance, and product consistency as the operation scales. As an individual contributor, you’ll partner seamlessly with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality peers to investigate issues, analyze data, and help translate quality expectations into practical, day‑to‑day execution on the floor.

At Torani, a Certified B Corporation, we flavor more than just drinks—we flavor lives. You’ll join a people‑first, purpose‑driven team and help build foundational data capabilities that will shape how Torani makes decisions for years to come. If you’re excited to build something meaningful, visible, and lasting, you’ll thrive here.

Success Factors (First 12–24 Months)
  • Quality Systems & Sauce Start‑Up:
You played a critical role in designing, implementing, and evolving quality systems for Torani’s new sauce production line. From commissioning and qualification through steady‑state operations, you ensured quality checks, controls, and documentation were thoughtfully designed, data‑driven, and aligned with operational realities. You partnered closely with Manufacturing and Maintenance to collect and analyze process data, assess system stability, and adjust controls as needed.

As new equipment, processes, and products were introduced, you ensured the Quality Management System evolved alongside them and kept standards clear, practical, and consistently executed.
  • Lead Investigator & Problem Solver:
You served as the lead investigator for quality incidents related to sauce production, customer complaints, and environmental monitoring events. You led root cause analysis efforts, synthesized data from multiple sources, and partnered with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to develop corrective actions that addressed both immediate risk and long‑term prevention. When microbiological hits occurred, you owned the investigation end to end—from data review and environmental mapping through final reporting and corrective action closure—ensuring issues were resolved thoroughly and sustainably.
  • Operational Quality Partner:
You worked side by side with operational teams to embed quality into daily work rather than treating it as a separate function. By understanding what mattered most to Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Warehouse partners—and helping them understand quality priorities—you enabled smoother execution, faster issue resolution, and stronger ownership on the floor. You played a key role in designing and implementing Red Zone quality checks for sauce, translating quality requirements into clear, usable workflows that supported compliance without slowing production.
  • Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
You prepared and presented monthly QA KPIs and KBIs, using data to tell a clear story about process capability, trends, and risk. Through statistical analysis and practical interpretation, you helped teams understand what the data was signaling and where action was needed. You actively participated in operational excellence initiatives, supporting kaizens and improvement events, and helped build the foundation of Torani’s quality excellence system for sauce as part of the broader operations excellence journey.
  • Coaching & Capability Building:
While an individual contributor, you played an important role in developing the capability of frontline team members. You coached technicians, operators, and peers on quality expectations,…
