We’re looking for a Director, Quality Assurance to bring deep technical quality leadership and a passion for building systems that scale across our Syrup and Sauce operations—and across every site in our growing Co-Manufacturing network. In close partnership with the Senior Director of Quality, you’ll translate long-term strategy into clear priorities, operating rhythms, and capability-building that strengthen both the program and the people who run it.

Success Factors (First 12-18 months)
  • Enterprise Quality & Food Safety Builder:
    You strengthened Torani’s Quality and Food Safety programs across Syrup, Sauce, and Co-Manufacturing by translating strategy into clear priorities, routines, and expectations that leaders across the organization could execute with confidence. Drawing on industry best practices and what’s already worked well at Torani, you aligned teams around the right preventive controls, environmental monitoring, allergen programs, internal audit readiness, and core QMS rhythms.

    By coaching key leaders, removing barriers, and reinforcing what “great” looks like on the floor, you scaled a program that stayed rigorous, resilient, and ready for increasing complexity.
  • Co-Manufacturing Quality Leader:
    You elevated Torani’s co-manufacturing quality oversight by building a clear operating model that enabled consistent execution and strong accountability across external partners. Through qualification standards, audit readiness routines, governance, and disciplined corrective action follow-through, Torani expectations became easy to understand, measurable, and sustained. Co-man sites felt supported because your team brought clarity, consistency, and technical partnership—protecting the Torani brand while strengthening performance across the network.
  • Investigation & Risk Management Excellence:
    You elevated how Torani responded to quality events by strengthening investigation rigor, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-through across the organization. By building capability within the Quality team and reinforcing clear problem-solving routines, investigations became faster, deeper, and more consistent—from quality incidents and customer complaints to microbiological/environmental findings and audit observations. You also helped strengthen cross-functional ownership by working closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering to connect causes to real operational fixes, share learnings, and prevent repeat issues.

    The result was a stronger risk prevention culture where teams solved problems at the source and quality performance improved over time.
  • Ops Excellence Partner:
    You helped Quality become a true driver of operational excellence by turning quality insights into practical improvements that teams could own and sustain. By staying closely connected with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, you ensured quality priorities were built into daily decision-making—shaping how work was planned, executed, and improved across the operation. Findings translated into action through shared problem-solving, disciplined follow-through, and routines that held the gains.

    As a result, OEE improved, losses decreased, reliability strengthened, and product consistency increased—because quality and performance advanced together on the floor, not just on paper.
