Job Type: Contractual

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

There is a possibility the assignment could be extended before 8 weeks. It could convert to full-time.

Candidate will need to interview with the manager via Face Time or Zoom.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in QA, QC, food manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and quality systems.
  • Ability to perform visual inspections, product evaluations, and maintain routing quality records.
  • Ability to enforce and verify compliance with food safety, quality and employee hygiene standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize and escalate quality or food safety concerns promptly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspections in the production area for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality testing using established procedures.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to GMPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials, products, or processes.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.
  • Place products on hold when quality concerns are identified and support disposition decisions.
  • Conduct line checks, weight verification, label verification, code date inspections, and packaging audits.
  • Verify employee compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Escalate quality and food safety issues to leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
