The Sales Executive is responsible for driving and growing new business for an established courier delivery organization. This role focuses on prospecting new opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and developing value-added solutions to address customer needs.

The Sales Executive will execute sales plans within identified markets and target verticals, respond to RFPs, develop Scope of Work (SOW) documents, and support solution design, pricing, and new customer onboarding. The role emphasizes long-term partnerships and revenue growth.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, prospect, engage, and win new accounts within Unity Courier’s service area
  • Develop and execute effective business plans to grow new business and retain existing customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM and other sales tools
  • Collaborate closely with branch operations to identify and increase revenue opportunities
  • Engage with prospects and existing customers to identify needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Develop market-based strategies and leverage company brands to win new business
  • Manage business-related matters including contract negotiations, SOPs, KPIs, and customer business reviews (CBRs)
  • Develop final mile delivery solutions for target verticals and markets
  • Understand and leverage all company services and solutions to create customer value
  • Monitor account status through CRM and reporting tools to ensure visibility and communication with management
  • Participate in solution design, costing, and pricing processes
  • Investigate and report on local market conditions and competitive activity
  • Work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet sales targets
  • Travel as required within the assigned market
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Experience Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business-to-business transportation sales
  • Experience selling to major accounts within transportation, logistics, distribution, or outsourcing industries preferred

  • Proven track record of success and consistent over achievement
  • Experience using a repeatable and structured sales process
  • Competitive, driven, and tenacious mindset with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Energetic, collaborative, and professional approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
  • Knowledge of logistics operations is a plus
