Lead Glazier Experienced

Overview

Non-union glass company seeking lead glaziers with 2-3 years or more experience in the industry and experience as a lead glazier, managing other glaziers. Must be able to plan logistics for contract projects and service work calls. Able to manage equipment, shop fabrication, logistics for shop operations, logistics for service work calls throughout Northern California.

• Manage other glaziers and lead the team in tasks to complete efficiently.
• Correct, teach and guide other glaziers in a professional manner.
• Plan logistics for contract projects and service work calls; manage equipment and shop fabrication; coordinate logistics for shop operations and service calls throughout Northern California.
• Accurate field communication with the supervisor for ordering material, managing tasks, and on-site time to meet customer needs.
• Report to shop for service work calls; report on job sites for contract work as applicable.
• Safety-focused and maintain professional conduct with customers.

• 2-3+ years of glazier experience, with prior lead glazier experience managing a team.
• Ability to plan logistics, manage equipment, and oversee shop fabrication and field operations.
• Experience fabricating/installing aluminum storefront, curtain wall and related systems; measuring openings accurately.
• English proficiency; clear communication; team player; ability to take instruction from supervisor; clean driving record (no DUI).
• Self-motivated, hard-working, and professional demeanor; commitment to safety.

The pay range for lead glazier is $36-$40 / hour depending on skill and experience.
