Software Engineering Consultant

In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

This position will be working with software development teams responsible for application maintenance, enhancements and integration in all parts of the software release cycle. The candidate should have experience working in a hardware lab environment. When new business requirements are created, the candidate must have the skill to translate the requirements and implement into basic validation scripts. The candidate will also serve as liaison to testing groups in an advisory capacity.

The candidate works closely with developers and QA teams, assisting in defect troubleshooting and detailed analysis during the development and testing phases. Good written and verbal communication skill is a plus.
