Customer Service​/Warehouse Associate II

Overview

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is looking for an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves supporting walk‑in customers and performing sales transactions along with material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks. Forklift and/or crane equipment may be used daily.

• Serve walk‑in customers, assist them in determining order requirements, answer inquiries, provide samples, and complete sales transactions.
• Accept payments, process returns, and resolve customer complaints.
• Perform office administration tasks: process payments and receipts, reconcile DSRs and cash box, prepare bank deposits, manage petty cash, create performance reports and vendor orders, and update customer master files.
• Enter customer orders, create plant/RDC orders, and complete stock replenishment orders.
• Produce daily sales reports.
• Operate warehouse duties: pull/assemble orders, check outbound accuracy, conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, move, store, and replenish material, and perform daily cycle counts.
• Handle receiving duties: unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process returns, and report damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate crane forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility and a safe working environment by following safety rules.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service and warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience with competency.

Organization, math, time management, computer skills, detail orientation, customer service, and safety consciousness are essential.

This job requires regular standing, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting up to 70 lbs. Handles items longer than 36 inches or heavier than 70 lbs may require a team lift. Vision requirements include close and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Competitive salary ranging from $20.45/hr to $25.51/hr at start, with potential commission, incentive, and bonus opportunities.
