Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to Leadership & Service. With a primary emphasis on assisting with club event processing and scheduling, the position also provides administrative support for customer service, office operations, documentation, purchasing, inventory, departmental projects, and a variety of administrative functions within a high-volume department. The Operations Coordinator helps maintain timely, organized, and responsive service to students, campus partners, and departmental staff.
This is a 9-month full-time temporary position and is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision and CalPERS retirement.
Department SummaryThe Cal Poly Leadership & Service area consists of Center for Leadership, Clubs & Organizations, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and community impact programs (Center for Service in Action, Community Engaged Learning Center, and College Corps), which support the development of student leadership and service on campus and in the surrounding community. Their events and services encourage leadership skill development and competency, assumption of leadership and service roles, and the continuation of service to one’s community after graduation.

- Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a very high level of diplomacy and professionalism.

- High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Four years of general office support or technical experience. Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for six months of experience.
Anticipated Hiring Range:$48,564 - $56,904 Per Year
Classification Range: $48,564 - $70,752 Per Year
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
