Sales Development Rep

Devscribe is an AI-powered platform that automates API documentation, allowing developers to ship projects faster, saving companies millions of dollars. We offer an out-of-the-box solution that helps companies quickly create beautiful and easy to read documentation that their customers will appreciate.

Our team is currently made up of two co-founders, Gianni and Sam. We got accepted into the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summer Accelerator program and are looking for interns to help build and grow Devscribe very quickly. Although this is an internship position, we are open to extending job opportunities after the summer if we see a fit.

About the role:

- Internship for the 2025 summer.

- This role will be from June 18th, 2025 to Sept 5, 2025 at the Cal Poly CIE Hothouse, located in downtown SLO, or remote. (We are willing to adjust the dates depending on applicants requests)

- You will receive 4 units of course credit towards your California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo Bachelor's degree.

- A great accolade to put on a resume; people love seeing you take risks and work at a startup.

Qualifications:

- Ideally, 1+ years experience working at a sales role and/or sales related job.

- Great if you have a background working at a startup or VC analyst.

- Experience with CRM applications (Salesforce, Apollo, etc.)

- Willing to put yourself out there and talk to people.

- Great if you already have a network of tech founders.

Responsibilities:

- You will be incharge of reaching and cold emailing as many founders as you can.

- Creating sales funnels in CRM platforms for prospect beta testers and customers.

- Setting up calls to meet with founders to get them demos.

- Evaluate potential founders that Devscribe would could work with and potential new types of companies (SMBs, Large Enterprise, etc.)

- You will be joining the Devscribe co-founders, Gianni and Sam, on trips up to the Bay area for founder meetups (Github events, Techstars events, etc).
