The theatre and dance department, california polytechnic state university, san luis obispo, california invites applications for a pool of part-time lecturers in the dance program. Positions are available as determined by need and funding during fall and/or spring semesters of the  academic year, which begins august 17, 2026. Teaching assignments are contingent upon budget and enrollments.

Duties may include teaching activity classes in ballet, ballroom, tap, modern, jazz, hip-hop, pilates/conditioning, and/or folk dance; and/or lecture classes in dance appreciation (lower-division), or cultural influence on dance in america (upper-division).
