Trihydro Corporation is seeking a civil project engineer to join its San Luis Obispo office. The successful candidate will join our Legacy Site Management Business Unit and assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project support, strong communication skills, and problem‑solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities- Performing and reviewing design calculations.
- Experience preparing figures, design drawings and plan sets using AutoCAD Civl3D, preferred but not required.
- Preparing technical memorandums and reports.
- Preparing and reviewing project specifications.
- Developing construction cost estimates.
- Preparing permit applications.
- Providing onsite construction inspections and office support.
- 3-5+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience, including large grading and drainage projects, utility and infrastructure relocation projects, pumping and piping systems, water and/or wastewater systems, water storage tanks, rural and urban roads, mine reclamation and infrastructure projects, and site development projects.
- EIT/PE preferred but not required. Possibility to obtain licensure within 12 months.

- An interest and ability for travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices nationwide.

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $70,000 - $95,000
This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.
