Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Transportation Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and managing transportation projects, ensuring they meet client needs and comply with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, and transit systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and monitor project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation design and project management.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
