Tax Preparer

This part-time, on-site role is located in the San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara Office. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, business, trust and estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, facilitating tax document gathering and completion with clients, and staying updated on changes in tax regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and collaboration with team members to provide excellent client service.

• Strong skills in Tax Preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and knowledge of Tax Laws
• Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and preparing accurate reports
• Understanding of Tax and Finance principles to support tax planning and advisory services
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Previous experience with tax preparation software such as Quickbooks Intuit Proconnect Canopy etc.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
