description :
Provides psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as discharge planning to and consultation about patients and families to assist them and the health care team in coping with patient's hospitalization, illness, diagnosis, treatment, and/or life situation, including emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Functions in a supervisory role as a team leader. This position is represented by SEIU. requirement :
Day Shift, M - F 0730 to 1600, 1week per month on call from 1600 till 0730, emergency only. This call week would include Sunday and Saturday. Must have master's in social work. Hospital experience preferred but not required.
