• Designand Implement Security Measures :
  Developandenforcesecuritypoliciesandprotocolstoprotectsensitiveinformationandsystemsfromunauthorizedaccessandcyberthreats.
• Conduct Security Audits :
  Regularlyassesstheorganization'ssecurityposturethroughauditsandvulnerabilityassessmentstoidentifypotentialweaknessesandrecommendimprovements.
• Incident Response
  :
  Provideincidentresponsetosecuritybreaches,investigateincidents,anddevelopstrategiestomitigatefuturerisks.
• Updates and Patching
  :
  Audit and manage patching across the enterprise.
• Security Awareness Training :
  Conducttrainingsessionsforemployeestopromotesecuritybestpracticesandawarenessofpotentialthreats.
• Stay Updatedon Security Trends :
  Keepabreastofthelatestsecuritytrends,technologies,andregulatoryrequirementstoensurecomplianceandenhancesecuritymeasures.
• Enforce CMMC 2.0 Regulations
  :
  Work closely with CMMC Security Analyst and other IT staff to implement and maintain CMMC 2.0 guidelines as they relate to cyber security.

• Educational Background
  : ABachelor’sdegreein
  
  Computer
  
  Science,Cybersecurity,orarelatedfield. Or five or more years’ of work experience as a Security Engineer or related position.
• Experience
  : five or more years’ of work experience as a Security Engineer or related position, withasolidunderstandingofsecuritymethodologiesandtechnologies.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiencyinsecuritytoolsandtechnologies,including firewalls,intrusiondetectionsystems,andencryptionmethods.
  
  Familiaritywithprogramminglanguagessuchas Python or Powershell.
• OS Platforms
  :
  Proficient in Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, and Office 365
• Networking and Infrastructure: Proficient in vlans, VPN technologies, Firewalls, and networking best practices in a DOW environment.
• Security Frameworks
  :
  Familiarity with CMMC 2.0 and Dfars  and NIST 800-171. ISO 27001, and ITAR beneficial.
• U.S. Citizenship

• Certifications
  :
  Relevantcertificationssuchas Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) arehighlydesirable.
• Experience
  : 5+ years of experience in a government regulated industry or similar high security industry.

Level IV - $158,000 - $188,000
