IT Systems Administrator
Job Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems. This role requires exercising discretion and independent judgmentregardingIT solutions that directlyimpactbusiness operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and system efficiency. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates across departments to develop strategies,maintainregulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements in IT processes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Broad variety of operations administration duties associated with computer systems and IT infrastructure.
- Overseeing day to day management of IT task ticket system
- Assist with the maintenance and management of network servers and technology tools
- Assist with the deployment of software updates
- Setup accounts and workstations.
- Identify and setup user trainings.
- Identify and support cybersecurity policies and initiatives.
- Monitor system performance andmaintainsystems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot user software/hardware/connectivity issues
- Helpestablishremote-working networked IT solutions
- Help design, upgrade, andmaintainwireless network
- Support manufacturing, production, quality, and related engineering efforts
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Coordinate IT issue resolutions with other IT resources as required
- Assist with development of processes and procedures
- Track IT KPI’s
- Creation and updating of documentation
- Assist with user training
- Support company AS9100 certification
- Maintain and support NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer networks training
- Experience with Enterprise IT admin
- Formal computer science training is a plus
- A working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Group Policy Management
- Writing documentation of Best Practices
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve problems
- Mustpossesssolid organizational skills
Skills and Experience:
- ERP systems experience is desirable
- Excellent writing skills
- Basic math skills
- Detail oriented
- Disciplined execution of processes and systems
