The CNC Operator I supports aerospace production by safely operating CNC machines using released programs and work instructions. This role focuses on execution, inspection, and adherence to standard work in a controlled production environment. It involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams.

• Load and unload parts, fixtures, and materials into CNC machines
• Run approved CNC programs without modification
• Perform basic in‑process inspections using hand tools (calipers, gauges)
• Monitor machine operation and cycle times
• Identify and report machine faults, tool wear, or quality concerns
• Maintain clean, FOD‑free work areas
• Follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and quality requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• CNC mills and/or lathes
• Hand measuring tools (calipers, rulers, go/no‑go gauges)
• Basic shop equipment and fixtures

$20 – $23 USD per hour
