Responsible for the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients in ICU, Step Down Unit, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU and ER. Responsible for maintaining competencies required for each of these units. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.

Education and

Work Experience:

Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent:
Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing:
Preferred One year ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care, High Risk Labor and Delivery or ER experience in the last 5 years:
Required Completion of Critical Care Course(or equivalent experience):
Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Current RN license in state of practice:
Required Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification:
Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support):
Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification:
Required within 60 days of hire or transfer

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or enrolled in upcoming TNCC classs:
Required Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice:
Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS:
