RN, Clinical Nurse Specialist Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Develops and implements plan of care and ensures quality assurance. Makes initial and ongoing assessment of the patient needs, identifies changes and trends in various physical and emotional parameters to ensure expected outcomes. Provides clinical leadership and expertise in a specialty. Facilitates excellence in nursing practice through mentoring and education at the bedside, staff meetings, and select committees.

Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with ancillary personnel utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

- F. Must have - CNS, NRP, STABLE and PALS. 2 years of experience.

RN, Clinical Nurse Specialist Education and

Work Experience:

Master's Degree in Nursing:
Required Two years' clinical nursing experience:
Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:
Required Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in the state of practice:
Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification:
Preferred Department Specific License/

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification:
Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS:
Required Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP):
Required Day Shift; 8 to 4:30pm; M
