RN – Emergency Department; ER San Luis Obispo, CA

We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic acute care team in San Luis Obispo, California
. The ideal candidate is confident in triage, rapid assessment, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

• Perform comprehensive triage assessments on all patients
• Notify the Emergency MD of all abnormal signs, symptoms, and vital signs 100% of the time
• Provide timely nursing interventions in urgent and emergent situations
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

• Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent:
  Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN):
  Preferred
• Minimum one (1) year acute care experience:
  Required

• BLS (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS):
  Required
• ACLS (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS):
  Required
• PALS (PALS, HS-PALS, or RQI PALS):
  Required
• TNCC:
  Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
