Travel RN – Nurse Lead —

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Lead – Medical ICU (MICU) to provide unit-based leadership in a high-acuity setting. This role partners closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, staff coordination, and a strong culture of safety and quality.
Schedule- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours:
12-hour shifts - Weekly: 36 hours

- Provide unit-based leadership in the MICU
- Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary staff
- Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and high satisfaction
- Participate in staffing decisions, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Address patient care issues and improve overall patient experience
- Support staff development, training, and performance coaching
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
- Active California RN License (required)
- Supervisory experience or strong leadership skills (required)
- 5+ years clinical experience (preferred)
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
- TNCC (required)
- Additional specialty or leadership certifications (preferred)
- High-acuity Medical ICU setting
- Leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
- Participation in E-Verify required
- Adherence to all patient safety, regulatory, and organizational standards
- Leadership opportunity in a respected healthcare system
