Job SummaryAdventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking an experienced NICU RN Manager to lead daily clinical and operational functions of a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing staff, driving quality and patient safety initiatives, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring successful workflow management. Candidates must have current Epic EMR experience and experience managing through an EMR conversion to Epic.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of NICU management experience
- Experience managing a Level III NICU preferred
- Experience leading an EMR conversion to Epic
- Current Epic EMR experience required
- Strong leadership, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement experience
- Ability to participate in night call coverage and service line call rotation
- Acute care hospital leadership experience
- Active California RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required
- Master's Degree preferred
- BLS Certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- PALS Certification
- National Nursing Leadership or NICU Specialty Certification preferred
- 162-bed Acute Care Hospital
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- County-designated Trauma Center

Epic - Comprehensive women's and children's services
- Lead daily NICU clinical and operational activities
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary leadership
- Support staff education, retention, and performance development
- Oversee patient throughput and departmental operations
- Participate in on-call leadership coverage
