Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice:
  Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor:
  Required
• One year previous full-time experience in the operating room:
  Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor:
  Preferred
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR):
  Preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR:
  Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists, coordinating the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care.
• Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including safe and appropriate anatomical positioning.
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials safely.
• Document necessary information accurately in relevant logs or systems.

Must have current Epic experience.
