Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• One year of previous full-time experience in the operating room required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor (preferred)
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care.
• Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including safe anatomical positioning.
• Perform pre, intra, and post-procedure patient care planning and assessment.
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials safely.
