Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step Down

Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire
• 6 months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in last 2 years (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations.
• Administer medications and oversee intravenous therapy, including blood products.
• Maintain and manage indwelling catheters and drains, ensuring safe use of medical equipment in the critical care setting.
• Accurately interpret ECG rhythm and manage care of patients during life-threatening emergencies.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the care and management of patients post coronary intervention and post-device placements.
