Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience:
  Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:
  Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS):
  Required
• Two or more years of recent experience in the field:
  Required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications:
  Required
• Charge or lead experience: 2 plus years preferred
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification:
  Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provides unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services.
• Supervises and directs unit personnel to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work.
• Initiates and coordinates conferences with health team members, patients, and families to revise care plans for optimal patient care.
• Makes rounds to assess patient care needs and introduce self to patients and families.
• Develops strategies to improve customer satisfaction for patients, families, and physicians.
• Investigaes and resolves patient care and operational issues as needed.
