American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Operating Room Circulator with a California RN license, requiring at least one year of OR experience along with Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma exposure.

• Work within the Surgery department as an OR Circulator
• Rotating Day/Evening schedule, 5x8s Monday through Friday from 0600 to 2030, with openness to 4x10 schedules
• Schedule and start times may rotate
• On-call requirement of at least one night per week and one weekend per schedule, with potential for additional call based on need
• Requires experience with Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma surgical cases
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of one year of full-time Operating Room experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• No prior license actions or restrictions accepted

• Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff during surgical procedures
• Applies aseptic technique and ensures patient safety throughout all phases of perioperative care
• Positions patients safely and appropriately for surgical procedures
• Performs pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care planning and assessment
• Safely handles and disposes of biohazardous materials from surgical procedures
• Documents tissue/allograft handling, including temperature checks and package integrity verification
• Accesses facility information systems to support patient care and job responsibilities
• Position is represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA)
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
