American Traveler is hiring an RN OR Circulator requiring a CA RN license, ortho/neuro/trauma experience, and weekly on-call availability.

• Circulate in the Surgery department's Operating Room during surgical procedures
• Facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a county-designated trauma center
• Day/Evening shift schedule of 5x8s, Monday through Friday, , with openness to 4x10 schedules
• Schedule and start times rotate
• On-call required at least one night per week and one weekend per schedule, with potential for additional call based on need
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time OR experience required
• Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• CNOR certification preferred

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff flow during surgical procedures
• Ensure patient safety throughout all phases of perioperative care
• Apply aseptic technique principles consistently and safely operate OR equipment
• Prepare patients for surgery, including proper anatomical positioning
• Perform pre, intra, and post-procedure patient care planning and assessment
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials from operative procedures
• Document tissue/allograft temperature and verify package integrity per manufacturer guidelines
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
