The position reports to the Director of Perioperative Services and is represented by CNA.

• Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care.
• Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of patients undergoing surgery.
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within the perioperative team.
• Maintain adherence to established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the health care team.
• Comply with facility policies and guidelines; report to the Director of Perioperative Services.
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism as an expanded RN role (RNFA) in the perioperative setting.

• Current Registered Nurse license (unrestricted) in the applicable jurisdiction
• Perioperative nursing experience or RNFA preparation/eligibility
• Ability to work in a perioperative/hospital environment and participate in rotating 8-hour shifts
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
