Certified Veterinary Technician-Radiation Oncology

Pet Cure Oncology - Hoffman Estates

Full-time - Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm

Pet Cure Oncology, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, one of the most exciting and innovative veterinary oncology providers in the country, is seeking a unique, highly energized, compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to support the patients seen through the radiation oncology service at our Hoffman Estates location. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in administering and monitoring anesthesia and will provide compassionate patient care, excellent client communication, and play an active role in the department’s growth.

Ideal Candidates
  • Required
    : 2 years of veterinary experience; specialty hospital and oncology experience is a plus.
  • Required
    :
    Certified Veterinary Technician.
  • Required
    :
    Phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience in managing critical patients is preferred.
  • Required
    :
    Strong background in administering and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Ability to multi‑task, adjust, and learn in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Team player with great communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills; able to learn and assimilate quickly to new cloud‑based computer applications.
  • Can fully use technical skills and learn from new experiences.
  • Provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care.
  • Promote Pet Cure Oncology and SRS through education and participation in community and veterinary events and other duties as needed.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience; the hourly rate will consider factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
