A busy wholesale distribution company in San Marcos is seeking a proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage customer billing and payment processing. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers to ensure timely payments.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Generate and distribute customer invoices
+ Apply payments via check, ACH, wire, and credit card
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
+ Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
+ Coordinate with sales and operations teams regarding billing issues
+ Maintain accurate customer account documentation
+ Assist with AR reporting and month-end support
Requirements
+ 1-3 years of AR or accounting support experience
+ Strong data entry and reconciliation skills
+ Comfortable handling customer phone and email communication
+ Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
+ Detail-oriented and organized
