A growing construction company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support daily receivable operations and assist with maintaining accurate customer accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed accounting work while collaborating with project managers and clients.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
+ Prepare and distribute customer invoices
+ Post customer payments and maintain accurate account records
+ Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies
+ Assist with collections on past-due invoices
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up as needed
Administrative Support
+ Maintain customer files and supporting documentation
+ Assist with month-end reporting
+ Prepare deposit records and payment logs
+ Support special accounting projects as assigned
Requirements
+ 1-3 years of accounts receivable or accounting support experience
+
Experience with Quick Books, Sage, or Vista/Viewpoint is preferred
+ Strong Excel and data entry skills
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
+ Construction industry experience is a plus
