A growing healthcare organization is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to help manage a high-volume receivables portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining account reconciliation, payment research, collections, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work closely with billing, finance, patient/customer service, and operations teams to keep accounts accurate and resolve issues that may delay payment.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of outstanding receivable accounts
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection activity
• Post and reconcile incoming payments
• Research unapplied cash, short payments, and account discrepancies
• Follow up on outstanding balances through phone and email
• Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate corrections
• Prepare account statements and supporting documentation
• Work with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues
• Process credits, adjustments, and write-offs according to company procedures
• Reconcile AR subledger activity to the general ledger
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting
• Monitor customer payment trends
• Maintain detailed collection notes and account documentation
• Assist with audit requests and special projects
