The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management at California State University San Marcos seeks a part‑time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach a section of BUS 324.

This course introduces business analytics concepts and tools used in various business functions. The course is divided into two parts: predictive and prescriptive modeling/analytics. The predictive analytics part covers statistical data analysis to solve business problems, including descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and regression analysis. The prescriptive analytics part covers deterministic optimization models, statistical software, and spreadsheet optimization.

• Teach the assigned section of BUS 324 during the Fall 2026 semester, delivering lectures, leading discussions, and grading assignments.

• Master's degree in business administration or related discipline.
• Current industry experience in an analytics‑related position.

• Doctorate or equivalent.
• Previous teaching experience at a four‑year university or community college.
• Intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community.

• Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507–$6,677 per full‑time month.
