Responsible for supporting the management of the assigned research grant within the college of Science.
Job Duties- Manages post-award administration for an assigned portfolio of awards and contracts within the College of Science.
- Oversees award financial management, including budget review, reconciliation, forecasting, adjustments, reporting, and closeout.
- Ensures compliance with sponsor regulations, university policies, and quality standards throughout the award lifecycle.
- Coordinates payroll, cost sharing, and expenditure adjustments.
- Monitors budgets, projections, and compliance deadlines; communicates regularly with PIs and the Office of Sponsored Programs regarding financial status and revisions.
- Prepares and submits required financial reports and assists with non-financial reporting as needed.
- Processes and coordinates award modifications, including no-cost extensions, rebudgeting, carryover, changes in scope, and subaward invoicing.
- Assist effort reporting and quarterly certification in accordance with federal and university requirements.
- Facilitates award transfers, assists with timely and compliant project closeout, and adheres to sponsor regulations and university policies.
- Provides high-quality customer service and produces clear, professional written documentation.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
