Job Description

Responsible for supporting the management of the assigned research grant within the college of Science.

Job Duties
  • Manages post-award administration for an assigned portfolio of awards and contracts within the College of Science.
  • Oversees award financial management, including budget review, reconciliation, forecasting, adjustments, reporting, and closeout.
  • Ensures compliance with sponsor regulations, university policies, and quality standards throughout the award lifecycle.
  • Coordinates payroll, cost sharing, and expenditure adjustments.
  • Monitors budgets, projections, and compliance deadlines; communicates regularly with PIs and the Office of Sponsored Programs regarding financial status and revisions.
  • Prepares and submits required financial reports and assists with non-financial reporting as needed.
  • Processes and coordinates award modifications, including no-cost extensions, rebudgeting, carryover, changes in scope, and subaward invoicing.
  • Assist effort reporting and quarterly certification in accordance with federal and university requirements.
  • Facilitates award transfers, assists with timely and compliant project closeout, and adheres to sponsor regulations and university policies.
  • Provides high-quality customer service and produces clear, professional written documentation.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
